As part of its 'Green Shoots' initiative, Warwickshire County Council is inviting young people who are passionate about protecting our planet to enter its 'Young Green Shoots' competition.
The Young Green Shoots competition is a way for young people to learn about climate change through creativity, to contribute to discussions about the environment and become advocates for positive change.
The competition challenges children and young people in Coventry and Warwickshire to learn about climate change and to explore how each of us can take action to be a climate hero. Each of the category winners will win £2,500 for their school or college to spend on projects related to climate change and their work will form part of a showcase to leaders from the public and private sectors at the Coventry & Warwickshire Climate Summit event in March.
Entries should be submitted by the competition deadline of 27 February 2022.
